Sarah joined the Tero team in 2022 as a Professional Development Specialist, combining her passions for organization and education. She found her enthusiasm for the training and development field in her role as a barista trainer at Starbucks while in college, and continues to inspire and support learning and professional growth in her role at Tero.
Sarah has been involved in research, design, and development of Tero special projects and learning support for the past 2 years. Now, as a Learning Experience Manager, Sarah has expanded her role to include coordination of the master training and coaching calendar, and facilitating and producing Tero’s Virtual Workshops and Clinics.
Sarah graduated with her Masters of Education in Training and Development from North Carolina State University in 2022 and has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Drake University. She was born and raised in the Des Moines area and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina after graduating from Drake. There, she and her husband lived for 5 years, where they weathered several hurricanes and acquired many fur-children, most notably, 4 small goats. Sarah is very passionate about animals, and has fostered many dogs over the years.
In 2021, Sarah and her husband packed up all of their belongings and fur-babies, and made the move to Fort Smith, Arkansas to be able to start their own micro-farm and be closer to family again. In March of 2023, they welcomed their own tiny human into the world. Along with spending time with her family and animals, Sarah is a dedicated volunteer for The Cloth Option, an organization working to end diaper need across the United States by making cloth diapers accessible to all. She also loves to find adventure in her free time. She is an avid hiker and climber, and enjoys exploring the many beautiful trails and parks the state of Arkansas has to offer.
Unique in the training industry, we use a team approach to most training and executive coaching. This means a diversity of trainers, a variety of trainer certifications, specialties and expertise, and small facilitator to participant ratio.
When a group of people share a common development objective, a training workshop is an excellent way to acquire skills and knowledge. What if the development goals are unique or highly individual? One-on-one coaching is a better fit.
Find an individual workshop or skill-building series designed for your people and organization. Improve communication skills, leadership capacity, selling skills, professional presence, and your overall effectiveness.
