Yesterday, Becky discussed the importance of asking questions during a presentation. Today I will give you the last tips on how to keep your audience engaged.
Incorporate activities. If people sit too long, their brains start to operate in a passive mode. Get them involved in activities that help them get to know one another and learn your information.
Brand your presentation. Treat it like a product you are selling. Ask yourself: How can I brand my talk so the audience sees greater value in it?
Lastly, finish early. How many presentations have you attended that finished early? Compliment your audience by finishing five minutes early. Plan how long each stage of your talk should take and stick to it.
