Performance reviews allow time to discuss the company mission and organizational success, job descriptions, the employee's likes, dislikes, accomplishments and areas for development.
Also talk about how the position supports business success and how the individual fits their role.
Measure the full contribution of each employee. If an employee is not right for a position guide them in the right direction by helping them seek other job opportunities - internally or externally.
