This week we've explored ideas on getting people involved in teleconference meetings. Here are three more ideas.
First, delegate leadership of agenda items to team members. This will guarantee involvement, and double as a training opportunity where they learn to lead phone meetings.
Second, evaluate meeting effectiveness. Administer an on-line survey, such as Survey Monkey, to determine the value and seek ideas on making meetings more productive.
Third, rethink the need for the meeting. If the teleconference is merely to provide one-way communication, active participation may not be required. Perhaps a quarterly report could replace the meeting.
